The Sefer, So Good Jewish Family Book and Music ClubClub is an easy way for you to purchase excellent books and music to enrich upcoming holidays, highlight Jewish values, and... just for fun! 

Transmitting the values most important in our religion to our children is among our chief duties as parents and Jewish educators.  Children often see little or no connection between Judaism and their own interests and daily lives.  How can we help our children to see the place that Jewish values have in their world?  Children’s literature provides a unique strategy for making this connection quite easily. Helping them to understand that the ideas in many of their favorite stories and books are connected to Judaism establishes a strong link between the Jewish value system and our children’s own lives.  Selecting excellent Jewish and secular picture books and middle-school fiction to best make this connection can be extremely difficult. It is the notion of using children’s literature to teach Jewish values that is my passion and has become my specialty. The books and music on the Sefer, So Good Jewish Family Book and Music Club order forms are personally selected for their excellent quality and effectiveness as tools for imparting the Jewish values so dear to us.

Want to start a Jewish Book and Music Club in your own Synagogue, Early Childhood Center, or Day School? To offer families the ability to purchase high quality children’s Jewish literature and music at a reasonable cost throughout the entire year, I will work with you to create age-appropriate “club order packets” to send home through religious school/preschool. The packets will be geared to the Jewish holidays and other timely Jewish subjects and will include descriptions of all the books and music, along with easy directions for you, a volunteer, or teacher to process the orders. All orders will be placed, paid for, received and distributed through your synagogue/center. Individual orders will be sold at list price and the synagogue/center may retain 15% of all orders as profit or to use as credit toward the purchase of new books and music.
